The lure of fishing draws thousands of anglers to Atwood Lake each year. The lake is stocked with a plentiful supply of numerous species, including saugeye, bass, catfish, pike, bullheads, crappie and perch.
Fishing is permitted from the shoreline and fishing boat rentals also are available at Atwood Lake Boats West Marina and East Marina. The marinas also carry a supply of bait and other items.
Atwood Lake fishing is regulated on the lake by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife. Valid Ohio resident fishing licenses for a single day ($11) and a season ($19) can be purchased at the marinas or in advance at www.ohiodnr.com
