Wedding Information & Policies
There is a $2,000.00 non-refundable deposit for all weddings in order to reserve adequate banquet space for the group. Deposit will be applied to the final bill and is due approximately 30days from the receipt of the booking agreement.
Estimated balance due is to be paid in full 7 days prior to arrival; any other charges are to be paid in full prior to departure.
Weddings are permitted to bring in their own wedding cakes, dj’s, photographers, florists and any homemade cookies. All other food and/or beverage must be purchased through Atwood Lake Resort & Conference Center.
Any decorations planned for the reception is the responsibility of the guests occupying the room. Guests are permitted to bring in their own centerpieces. Banquet space cannot be guaranteed for decorating purposes more than 2 hours prior to event start time. Earlier access will be permitted subject to space availability.
A minimum of $6,000.00 in food and beverage sales must be met for the reservation of the entire Muskingum Lakes Ballroom on a Friday or Saturday night. The minimum for a Sunday is $2,000.00. A morning/afternoon rental of the ballroom has a departure time of 3:00pm and an evening rental of the ballroom has a departure time of 1:00am.
Rental cost of the Grassy Terrace is $700.00 based on a 200 person wedding. Anything over that amount would be a price increase. The cost includes the site, garden white fold out chairs and a back-up room in case of inclement weather.
30-45 days before date of the wedding details will be finalized including set-up, times, menus and other details.
72 Business hours prior to the event date the final guaranteed count will be needed; the amount can always increase but cannot decrease after count has been called in.
